Uh-Huh is the seventh studio album by American singer-songwriter John Cougar Mellencamp, released in 1983. The album marked a significant shift in Mellencamp's music, showcasing a more rock-oriented sound and a departure from his previous albums' folk and country influences.

"Uh-Huh" features a collection of catchy and anthemic rock songs, reflecting themes of youthful rebellion, small-town life, and the struggles of the working class. Mellencamp's powerful and passionate vocals are at the forefront, and the album is driven by strong guitar riffs and energetic rhythms.

"Uh-Huh" was a commercial success. It reached No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming Mellencamp's first top-10 album. The lead single, "Pink Houses," became one of his most iconic songs, peaking at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and becoming a staple in his live performances.
