Shipping Policy

At Records Geek, we are committed to fast, secure, and professional shipping of your vinyl records, CDs, movies, video games, apparel, and pop culture collectibles. Our distribution center is located in Arlington, Texas, near major shipping hubs, allowing us to offer reliable delivery across the United States and internationally.

Order Processing & Shipping Times

  • Same-Day Shipping: Orders placed and confirmed before 2:00 PM Central Time (CT) on business days are typically shipped the same day.
  • Processing Time: All in-stock orders are processed and handed to our carrier within 1 business day (maximum 2 business days).
  • Business Days: Monday through Friday, excluding major U.S. holidays.
  • Split Shipments: We try to ship your entire order together whenever possible. However, your order may occasionally be split into multiple shipments at no extra cost to you.

Shipping Methods & Rates

At checkout, you will see real-time shipping rates and delivery estimates from our carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL) based on your location, order weight, and dimensions.

Please note: Delivery estimates provided by carriers are approximate only. We cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.

Packaging Standards

We take extra care to protect your items, especially collector-grade media:

  • Vinyl Records: Shipped in dedicated record mailers and sandwiched between rigid cardboard inserts to prevent damage.
  • CDs, DVDs & Games: Professionally inspected and placed in new jewel cases with polybagging (unless the original release uses a digipak or specialty case).
  • High-Value Orders: Orders over $200 USD automatically include Signature Confirmation for added security.

Pre-Orders & Back-Orders

  • Pre-Orders: Items ordered before their official release date are shipped to arrive as close as possible to the release date. We cannot guarantee exact release-day delivery due to manufacturer and distribution delays.
  • Back-Orders: If an item is unexpectedly out of stock, we will refund the unavailable item and ship the rest of your order on schedule.

International Shipping

  • We ship to many countries worldwide. Availability and rates are shown at checkout.
  • Customs, Duties & Taxes: International customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees. These charges are calculated by your local customs office and are not included in your order total.
  • You are the importer of record and must comply with all laws in your country.
  • Customs forms will accurately declare the value and contents of your order.
