World Trade Center is a 2006 docudrama directed by Oliver Stone and written by Andrea Berloff, based on the true story of Port Authority Police officers John McLoughlin and Will Jimeno, who were trapped in the rubble of the collapsed World Trade Center during the September 11 attacks. Distributed theatrically by Paramount Pictures on August 9, 2006, the film stars Nicolas Cage and Michael Peña as McLoughlin and Jimeno, alongside Maria Bello, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Stephen Dorff, Jay Hernandez, and Michael Shannon.
