Gone in 60 Seconds is a 2000 action heist film directed by Dominic Sena and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, released June 9, 2000 by Touchstone Pictures. A loose remake of H.B. Halicki's 1974 film of the same name, the film was written by Scott Rosenberg and stars Nicolas Cage, Angelina Jolie, Giovanni Ribisi, Christopher Eccleston, Robert Duvall, Vinnie Jones, Delroy Lindo, and Will Patton.
The film follows Randall "Memphis" Raines, a retired master car thief pulled back into the trade to steal fifty high-end vehicles in a single night, in order to save his younger brother Kip from a vengeful crime boss. Shot throughout Los Angeles and Long Beach, California, the film became a commercial success, grossing over $237 million worldwide. Running time is 118 minutes.
