Made In Heaven is the fifteenth and final studio album by the legendary rock band Queen, released on November 6, 1995. The album serves as a tribute to the band's lead vocalist Freddie Mercury, who had passed away in 1991.
The album features a collection of unreleased recordings, demos, and vocal performances by Freddie Mercury, which were later complemented and completed by the remaining band members—Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon. The result is a poignant and emotional musical journey that showcases Queen's profound love and admiration for their late frontman.
"Made In Heaven" includes iconic tracks like "Heaven for Everyone" and "Too Much Love Will Kill You," which had been previously recorded by Mercury in his solo career. The album also features newly composed songs like "A Winter's Tale" and "Mother Love," where Mercury's last vocal performance can be heard.
"Made In Heaven" reached a peak position of #58 on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States. Despite its lower chart placement compared to some of Queen's earlier works, the album received critical acclaim for its heartfelt and moving tribute to Freddie Mercury.
