Milestone is the fifteenth studio album by 38 Special and their first new record in over 20 years, released September 19, 2025 through 38 Special Records to mark the band's 50th anniversary. Produced by Don Barnes and Jim Peterik, the album was written between tour dates and recorded in a series of live-in-the-studio performances, continuing the group's platinum-selling southern rock sound.
The album includes co-writes with Jim Peterik and Randy Bachman, along with "Slightly Controversial," a duet featuring Pat Monahan of Train. The current lineup features original vocalist Don Barnes alongside longtime members Bobby Capps, Gary Moffatt, Barry Dunaway, and Jerry Riggs.
