Far From Home is the eighth and final studio album by Traffic, released April 1994 on Virgin Records. The album marked a reunion between Steve Winwood and Jim Capaldi as the band's core lineup, recorded at Winwood's home studio in Gloucestershire and mixed at Studio Miraval in France, ending the band's twenty-four-year gap since their previous studio album.
The album includes "Here Comes a Man," "Every Night, Every Day," and the eight-and-a-half-minute title track "Far From Home." Winwood handled the majority of the writing, production, and instrumentation himself, with Capaldi contributing drums, percussion, and co-writing on select tracks.
