On the Threshold of a Dream, the fourth album by The Moody Blues, was released on April 25, 1969. This progressive rock album explores themes of dreams, enlightenment, and the search for meaning. It was their first album to reach No. 1 in the UK charts. While it didn't have any major hit singles, the album itself was a commercial success reaching number 20 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and certified Platinum by the RIAA.
