Before This World is the seventeenth studio album by American singer-songwriter James Taylor. It was released on June 16, 2015. This album marked Taylor's return to recording original material after a 13-year gap since his previous studio album.
The album features ten tracks, showcasing Taylor's signature folk and soft rock style. Many of the songs on the album reflect on themes of life, love, and the passage of time, which are recurring themes in Taylor's music.
"Before This World" received critical acclaim and was well-received by fans.
