Hitch is a romantic comedy film that was released in 2005. It stars Will Smith as Alex "Hitch" Hitchens, a professional "date doctor" who helps men improve their chances of winning over the women they desire.
Hitch's latest client is a clumsy and awkward accountant named Albert (played by Kevin James) who has fallen in love with a wealthy and beautiful heiress named Allegra (played by Amber Valletta). Hitch also becomes romantically involved with a gossip columnist named Sara (played by Eva Mendes).
Throughout the film, Hitch helps Albert woo Allegra while also navigating his own complicated relationship with Sara. The film is filled with humorous situations and witty banter, as well as some more serious moments as the characters navigate the ups and downs of love.
