Girls To Chat & Boys To Bounce is the ninth studio album by the British rock band Foghat. It was released on June 30, 1981, and marked a transitional period for the band as they ventured into a more commercial sound with a mix of hard rock and pop influences.
The album features a total of nine tracks, including the singles "Wide Boy" and "Live Now-Pay Later." "Wide Boy" achieved moderate success, reaching number 39 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. However, the album as a whole did not achieve significant commercial success, and it did not chart on the Billboard 200 album chart.
Despite not attaining high chart positions, "Girls To Chat & Boys To Bounce" still received positive reviews from critics. Foghat's trademark bluesy rock sound is present throughout the album, albeit with a slightly more polished production.
