Eight Below

Eight Below is a 2006 American adventure drama film directed by Frank Marshall and starring Paul Walker, Bruce Greenwood, and Jason Biggs. The film is inspired by the true story of a 1958 Japanese Antarctic Expedition, and tells the story of a group of eight sled dogs left stranded in Antarctica after their human companions are forced to evacuate due to an unexpected storm.  

The film follows the dogs as they struggle to survive in the harsh and unforgiving environment of Antarctica, facing challenges such as starvation, frostbite, and attacks from predators. Meanwhile, their former owner, Jerry Shepard (played by Paul Walker), becomes determined to rescue them, despite the dangerous conditions and the skepticism of others.

The film is known for its stunning cinematography, which captures the beauty and isolation of the Antarctic landscape, as well as the close bonds that form between the dogs and their human companions.
