The Lazarus Project is a 2008 psychological thriller directed by John Patrick Glenn. The film stars Paul Walker as Ben Garvey, a former criminal who is given a second chance at life through a mysterious rehabilitation program.
The story follows Ben Garvey, who, after a failed robbery attempt that resulted in the accidental death of a security guard, is sentenced to death by lethal injection. Instead of dying, Ben wakes up in a psychiatric facility with no memory of his execution. He is told that he has been given a second chance and is now part of an experimental program known as "The Lazarus Project," led by Dr. Rachel Carson, played by Linda Cardellini.
As Ben tries to rebuild his life and reconnect with his family, he begins to experience strange occurrences and visions. He becomes increasingly paranoid and begins to question the nature of his reality. The film blurs the lines between reality and imagination as Ben grapples with the consequences of his past actions and the mysteries surrounding the Lazarus Project.
