Boston's fourth studio album, "Walk On," was released on June 7, 1994, through MCA Records. This album is notable as the only Boston studio release not to feature original lead vocalist Brad Delp on lead vocals, though he did contribute as a songwriter. Delp had opted to focus on other projects, including a tour with his band RTZ, which made him unavailable for the recording sessions. Consequently, vocal duties were handled by Fran Cosmo, marking his debut on a Boston album. The album includes the hit song "I Need Your Love." "Walk On" achieved significant commercial success, peaking at number 7 on the Billboard 200 chart. It earned Platinum certification from the RIAA on September 8, 1994, for selling over 1,000,000 units in the United States. Additionally, the album was certified Platinum in Canada with 100,000 units sold and Gold in Japan for 100,000 units.
