Released on March 27, 1985, "7800° Fahrenheit" is the second studio album by American rock band Bon Jovi. It established the band's signature sound with powerful vocals from Jon Bon Jovi and electrifying guitar riffs from Richie Sambora. The album features hit songs like "In and Out of Love" and "The Hardest Part is the Night". While commercial success came later with their third album Slippery When Wet, "7800° Fahrenheit" laid the foundation for their future hard rock success.
"7800° Fahrenheit" didn't perform as well as Bon Jovi's subsequent albums, but it still managed to chart on the Billboard 200. It peaked at number 37 on the chart and spent a total of 85 weeks on the chart and is certified Platinum by the RIAA.
