When It All Goes South is the nineteenth studio album by Alabama, released January 16, 2001 on RCA Nashville. The album marked the band's final collection of original studio material until 2015's Southern Drawl, and was produced across multiple sessions by the band alongside Don Cook, Josh Leo, James Stroud, Michael Omartian, and Rick Hall.
The album includes the singles "When It All Goes South," "Will You Marry Me" featuring a guest vocal from Jann Arden, and "The Woman He Loves." Notably, longtime drummer Mark Herndon does not appear on the album, with session musicians including Eddie Bayers and Greg Morrow handling drum duties throughout.
