ZZ Top's Eliminator, their eighth studio album, was released on March 23, 1983, by Warner Bros. Records. A pivotal release, it blended the band's bluesy rock with 1980s new wave elements. Hit songs included "Gimme All Your Lovin'," "Sharp Dressed Man," "TV Dinners," and the iconic "Legs." Eliminator was a massive commercial success, selling over 11 million copies in the US and achieving Diamond certification from the RIAA.
