In the Mirror is a compilation album by Greek keyboardist and composer Yanni, released on April 15, 1997 by Private Music, drawing together fifteen tracks recorded between 1986 and 1993 from across his catalog. The collection reached number one on Billboard's Top New Age Albums chart and number 17 on the Billboard 200, and gathers material originally produced by Yanni along with Peter Baumann from the albums Dare to Dream, In My Time, Out of Silence, Keys to Imagination, Chameleon Days, and Niki Nana.
The set spans quieter, romantic pieces such as the solo piano title track and In the Morning Light alongside more rhythmically driven compositions like Within Attraction and Chasing Shadows. Aria is presented here in a special live version drawn from Live at the Acropolis, based on a passage from Léo Delibes' 19th-century opera Lakmé. Other included favorites are A Love for Life, Face in the Photograph, and So Long My Friend.
