The Santa Clause 2 is a Christmas comedy film released in 2002, directed by Michael Lembeck. It is the sequel to the 1994 film "The Santa Clause." The movie stars Tim Allen as Scott Calvin, who has now fully embraced his role as Santa Claus since the events of the first film.
The story revolves around a new dilemma for Santa: he discovers that he must find a Mrs. Claus in order to remain Santa permanently. If he fails to find a suitable wife by Christmas Eve, he will stop being Santa Claus, and Christmas magic will begin to fade away.
In an effort to balance his responsibilities at the North Pole and his duties as a father to his son Charlie, Scott travels back to the human world. He also brings with him a toy Santa automaton to manage the workshop while he is away. However, the toy Santa turns out to be a little too strict and begins to implement changes that upset the elves and cause chaos.
Meanwhile, Scott tries to find a wife and reconnect with his son, who is dealing with typical teenage issues. The film explores themes of family, love, and the importance of believing in the magic of Christmas.
