The Santa Clause" is a Christmas comedy film released in 1994, directed by John Pasquin. The movie stars Tim Allen as Scott Calvin, a divorced father who accidentally causes Santa Claus to fall from his roof on Christmas Eve. When Scott discovers Santa's suit and a card instructing him to put it on, he unknowingly triggers the "Santa Clause," a magical contract that binds him to take on the role of Santa Claus.

Despite initial disbelief, Scott soon finds himself transforming into Santa Claus, complete with a white beard, a round belly, and an obligation to deliver presents on Christmas Eve. As Scott struggles to come to terms with his new identity and responsibilities, he faces skepticism from those around him, including his ex-wife Laura (played by Wendy Crewson) and her new husband Neil (played by Judge Reinhold).

The film explores the challenges and humorous situations that arise as Scott tries to balance his normal life with his newfound duties as Santa Claus. He is guided by Bernard the Elf (played by David Krumholtz) and learns about the North Pole and its magical inhabitants. Over time, Scott gains a new appreciation for the spirit of Christmas and the importance of family.
