The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is a fantasy adventure film that was released in 2008, directed by Rob Cohen. It is the third installment in "The Mummy" film series, following "The Mummy" (1999) and "The Mummy Returns" (2001). The movie stars Brendan Fraser, Maria Bello, Jet Li, John Hannah, and Michelle Yeoh.
The plot is set in 1946, several years after the events of the previous films. Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) and his wife Evelyn (Maria Bello, replacing Rachel Weisz) have retired from adventuring. They are drawn back into action when their son Alex (Luke Ford) discovers the tomb of the Dragon Emperor, a powerful and tyrannical Chinese ruler named Emperor Han (Jet Li), who was cursed and entombed alive along with his army.
As the O'Connells and their allies attempt to stop the resurrected Emperor Han from unleashing his mummified army and conquering the world, they face various challenges and encounters, including battles with mythical creatures and ancient Chinese sorcery. Along the way, they join forces with Lin (Isabella Leong), a mysterious and powerful woman with her own agenda.
