The Last Shot

Inspired by the incredible true story of "the greatest movie never made," The Last Shot is a sharp Hollywood satire that pits the FBI against the Mob in the middle of a film set. Matthew Broderick stars as Steven Schats, a desperate, aspiring director whose life's dream is finally green-lit by a mysterious producer named Joe Devine (Alec Baldwin). What Schats doesn't know is that Devine is actually an undercover FBI agent using the production as an elaborate sting operation to take down the racketeering underworld.

As the sham production moves to Rhode Island, the line between duty and "showbiz" begins to blur when the FBI agents find themselves falling in love with the magic of filmmaking. Directed by Jeff Nathanson, this comedy caper features a stellar supporting cast including Toni Collette, Tony Shalhoub, Calista Flockhart, and Ray Liotta.
