The Knack's second studio album, ...But the Little Girls Understand, was released on February 15, 1980. It followed their highly successful debut, Get the Knack, and reached number 15 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album featured the hit singles "Baby Talks Dirty," which peaked at number 38 on the Billboard Hot 100, and "Can't Put a Price on Love," which reached number 62. It was a commercial disappointment compared to its predecessor but was certified Gold by the RIAA on April 14, 1980, for 500,000 units sold in the United States and Platinum in Canada for 100,000 shipments. The album is a notable part of the band's power pop and new wave legacy.
