Suzi Quatro's seventh studio album, Rock Hard, was released in October 1980. It is notably her first and only release on Dreamland Records. The album's hit songs included the title track "Rock Hard," which reached number 9 in Australia, and the Dave Clark Five cover "Glad All Over." Other singles were "Lipstick" and "Ego in the Night." While it was her poorest-selling studio album in the US at the time, it was a commercial success in Australia, earning a gold record certification. The album peaked at number 165 on the US Billboard 200 chart, number 31 on the Australian Albums chart, and number 22 in Norway.
