Released in September 1987, Wildside was the fifth studio album by Canadian rock band Loverboy. It marked a turning point for the band, being their first album not to achieve platinum certification in the United States, signaling a decline in their mainstream popularity. However, the album did spawn a Top 40 hit, "Notorious," co-written by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora. While commercially less successful than their previous albums, Wildside is still considered enjoyable by fans of the band's classic sound, featuring tracks like "Walkin' on Fire" and "Break It to Me Gently."
