The Very Best of Elvis Costello and The Attractions 1977–86 is a compilation album by English singer-songwriter Elvis Costello, released on June 21, 1994. The album features a selection of Costello's most popular and critically acclaimed songs, all of which were recorded with his backing band, The Attractions, between 1977 and 1986.
The album includes hit singles such as "Alison", "Watching the Detectives", and "Oliver's Army", as well as album tracks such as "Pump It Up", "Accidents Will Happen", and "Shipbuilding".
