The Bad Company album Burnin' Sky is the fourth studio album by the English rock band Bad Company. Released on March 3, 1977, it was recorded in France in July and August 1976 with future Rolling Stones engineer Chris Kimsey. The album's release was delayed to avoid competition with their then-current album Run with the Pack. Burnin' Sky peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 and No. 17 in the UK Albums Chart. It was remastered and re-released in 1994. The album cover draws inspiration from the poster for the 1969 Sam Peckinpah film The Wild Bunch. Burnin' Sky has been certified Gold by the RIAA.
