The 1979 album Desolation Angels is the fifth studio release from the English rock supergroup Bad Company. The album features a more embellished sound with the use of synthesizers and strings, and it is notable for being the last strong album with their original lineup. Two of its hit songs, "Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy" and "Gone, Gone, Gone," received substantial airplay. Desolation Angels was released on March 7, 1979, and was a commercial success, reaching number 3 on the U.S. Billboard album charts. The album has been certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA for its sales performance.
