April Wine's eighth studio album, Harder.....Faster, was released in October 1979. This hard rock album was recorded at Le Studio, Morin-Heights, Quebec. It features the moderately successful hit singles "I Like to Rock" and "Say Hello," with "I Like to Rock" reaching number 86 on the Billboard Hot 100 and "Say Hello" reaching number 104. The album itself peaked at number 64 on the Billboard 200 chart and remained on the chart for 40 weeks. Harder.....Faster was certified Gold by the RIAA in the United States, signifying 500,000 units sold, and Platinum in Canada by Music Canada, for sales of 100,000 units.
