Young Frankenstein

Young Frankenstein is a 1974 American comedy film directed by Mel Brooks and written by Brooks, Gene Wilder, and Richard Pryor. It stars Wilder as Dr. Frankenstein, a descendant of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, who is determined to prove that his grandfather was not a mad scientist. The film also stars Madeline Kahn as Elizabeth, Teri Garr as Inga, Marty Feldman as Igor, Gene Hackman as the Monster, and Cloris Leachman as Frau Blucher. Young Frankenstein was produced by Brooks and Michael Gruskoff and released on December 15, 1974. It grossed $86.2 million at the box office.
