Yes's thirteenth studio album, Union, was released on April 30, 1991, by Arista Records. It marked a reunion of sorts for the band, featuring members of both Yes and the splinter group Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe (ABWH). The album combined new material from both groups, resulting in a sound that blended Yes's modern sound with their classic 70s art rock influences.
Union received positive critical reception and peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album was also certified Gold by the RIAA, signifying sales of over 500,000 units in the US.
