Wimbledon, released on September 17, 2004, is a romantic comedy sports film directed by Richard Loncraine. The movie centers on Peter Colt, a down-on-his-luck British tennis player, played by Paul Bettany, who finds his motivation reignited when he meets Lizzie Bradbury, an ambitious American tennis star portrayed by Kirsten Dunst, during the Wimbledon tournament.
