Poodle Hat is the eleventh studio album by "Weird Al" Yankovic, released May 20, 2003 and marking the first album he produced entirely on his own. The album leans into parodies of early 2000s pop, including "Couch Potato," a parody of Eminem's "Lose Yourself," and "A Complicated Song," a parody of Avril Lavigne's "Complicated."
The centerpiece is "Angry White Boy Polka," a medley stitching together snippets of fourteen early-2000s rock and nu-metal hits into a single polka arrangement. The album also includes "eBay," a parody of the Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way," and "Genius in France," an eight-minute style parody written with Frank Zappa collaborator Bob Kaye.
