This eleventh studio release from the renowned parody artist Weird Al Yankovic delivers a comedic exploration of the popular culture from the early two thousands. Self produced by Yankovic and originally released in May 2003, the album showcases a diverse range of musical styles including his trademark polka medleys and clever lyrical reinterpretations. The collection features prominent parodies of major artists such as Eminem with the opening track Couch Potato and Nelly with Trash Day. Notable style parodies also pay homage to the unique sounds of Frank Zappa on the extensive track Genius in France and Ben Folds on Why Does This Always Happen to Me. Recorded over the course of a year at Mad Dog Studios and EMG Studio, the project includes contributions from long time band members and guest musicians like Dweezil Zappa and Ben Folds. This release solidified Yankovic's presence on the comedy charts and highlights his ability to blend technical musicality with sharp humor across a wide array of genres from rock to contemporary rhythm and blues.
