    Walk the Line is a 2005 American biographical drama film that chronicles the early life and career of country music legend Johnny Cash, his rise to fame, his struggles with addiction, and his enduring romance with June Carter. The film delves into Cash's difficult upbringing on an Arkansas cotton farm, the tragic death of his brother, and his journey to becoming the "Man in Black." His volatile yet passionate relationship with singer June Carter is a central theme, highlighting their personal and professional intertwining.

    The film was released on November 18, 2005, in the United States. It stars Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash and Reese Witherspoon as June Carter, both of whom performed their own vocals for the film.
