Van Halen fans rejoice! November 29th, 2024, marks Record Store Day and the release of a scorching live experience: Van Halen – Live In Dallas 1991. This exclusive double red vinyl LP captures the band's electrifying performance at the West End Marketplace in Dallas, Texas on December 4th, 1991, during their "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge Tour."
The Show: This previously unreleased concert features a dynamic setlist, blending new tracks like "Judgement Day" and "Poundcake" with classics from their earlier albums "5150" and "OU812," including fan favorites "Best Of Both Worlds" and "Finish What Ya Started." The band also throws in the iconic "Panama" and even treats the crowd to a couple of Sammy Hagar's solo hits, "I Can't Drive 55" and "There's Only One Way To Rock."
The Legacy: "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge," released in June 1991, was Van Halen's third album with Sammy Hagar and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, cementing their commercial success in the era. "Live In Dallas 1991" is a limited release of 6,000 and, it's sure to be a coveted collector's item for die-hard Van Halen fans.
