Hold an Old Friend's Hand is the second studio album by American singer Tiffany, released on November 21, 1988, by MCA Records. It was produced by George Tobin, who previously worked with Tiffany on her self-titled debut album.
The album is a teen pop and bubblegum pop album that explores the themes of young adulthood. Musically, the album incorporates elements of pop, rock, funk, disco, dance, and country pop.
The only hit from this album was the ballad "All This Time" which hit #6 on the Billboard charts. The album itself did not perform as well as her debut album, peaking at #17 on the US Billboard 200. The RIAA has certified the album as Platinum with sales of 1,000,000 units.
In critical reception, some reviewers felt the album showed a more mature Tiffany, while others felt it was not as strong as her debut.
