The Three Musketeers is a 2011 period action-adventure film directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, released in the United States on October 21, 2011 by Summit Entertainment. Loosely based on Alexandre Dumas' 1844 novel of the same name and reimagined with steampunk elements, the film stars Logan Lerman, Matthew Macfadyen, Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, Milla Jovovich, Mads Mikkelsen, Orlando Bloom, and Christoph Waltz.
The film follows a young D'Artagnan, who travels to Paris hoping to become a musketeer and joins forces with three legendary but disgraced former musketeers, Athos, Porthos, and Aramis, to stop a treasonous plot by Cardinal Richelieu and the double agent Milady de Winter to seize the French throne and plunge Europe into war. Running time is 110 minutes.
