The film stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning, and Michael Sheen. Catherine Hardwicke directed the film, and Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt, and Melissa Rosenberg produced it. New Moon was a commercial success, grossing over $700 million worldwide.
