The Star is an animated Christmas film that was released in 2017. Directed by Timothy Reckart, the movie retells the biblical story of the first Christmas from a unique perspective – through the eyes of the animals involved.

Bo, Dave, and Ruth witness the birth of Jesus and play a crucial role in protecting the holy family from a conniving and ambitious Roman soldier named Felix (Tracy Morgan).
