The Pink Panther Strikes Again is a comedy film released in 1976 and directed by Blake Edwards. It is the fifth installment in the Pink Panther film series and features Peter Sellers reprising his role as the bumbling and inept French detective, Inspector Jacques Clouseau.

In this installment, former Chief Inspector Dreyfus, played by Herbert Lom, has been driven insane by Clouseau's incompetence and is now committed to a mental institution. However, he escapes and plans to use a doomsday device to blackmail the world into killing Clouseau, believing that eliminating the detective will bring him peace.

As Dreyfus takes over a secret criminal organization, he demands that the world governments deliver Clouseau to him within a certain timeframe, or he will use the deadly device. Clouseau, unaware of Dreyfus's plans, is summoned from his vacation to investigate the situation.

The film is known for its slapstick humor, physical comedy, and Peter Sellers' iconic portrayal of Inspector Clouseau. Sellers' impeccable comedic timing and the character's absurd misadventures contribute to the film's comedic charm. The title of the movie comes from the fact that every time Clouseau inadvertently causes a disaster, Dreyfus, driven to madness, exclaims, "Does your dog bite?" in reference to an early scene involving a hotel concierge and a dog.
