The Others, a 2001 gothic supernatural psychological horror film, centers on Grace, a mother in 1945 Jersey protecting her photosensitive children in a darkened manor while awaiting her husband's return from war. Strange events and her daughter's claims of seeing ghosts lead Grace to believe supernatural forces are present.
