The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea is a 2000 American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Television Animation. It's the sequel to Disney's 1989 animated feature, The Little Mermaid. The film centers on Ariel and Eric's daughter, Melody, who longs to explore the ocean, unaware of her undersea heritage and a vengeful Ursula's sister, Morgana. Jodi Benson reprises her role as Ariel, while Samuel E. Wright returns as Sebastian (voice only). Tara Strong voices Melody, and Pat Carroll returns as Ursula (voice only in flashbacks). The film was directed by Jim Kammerud and Brian Smith. Producers included Leslie Hough and John A. Smith.
