The Innkeepers, released on February 3, 2012, is a supernatural horror film centered on the final days of the Yankee Pedlar Inn. As the hotel prepares to close, the last two employees, Claire, played by Sara Paxton, and Luke, portrayed by Pat Healy, are determined to document its alleged paranormal activity. Their ghost hunting endeavors take a dark turn as they experience increasingly disturbing events. Kelly McGillis appears as Leanne Rease-Jones, a former actress turned psychic who warns Claire about the dangers within the inn. The movie was written, directed, and edited by Ti West, and produced by Peter Phok and Larry Fessenden, among others. The Innkeepers had a limited theatrical release and grossed approximately $78,396 domestically and $1,091,354 internationally, totaling a worldwide box office of $1,178,831.
