Panorama is the third studio album by the American rock band The Cars. It was released on August 15, 1980. The album showcases a departure from the band's earlier new wave sound and experiments with more electronic and atmospheric elements.
"Panorama" reached number 5 on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States. Despite not achieving the same commercial success as their previous albums, it still managed to spawn a couple of well-received singles, such as "Touch and Go" and "Gimme Some Slack."
