Texasville is a 1990 drama film written and directed by Peter Bogdanovich, serving as a sequel to his 1971 film The Last Picture Show. Set 32 years after the original, the film follows Duane Jackson, played by Jeff Bridges, now an oil man $12 million in debt, as the small Texas town of Anarene prepares for its centennial celebration and old romances resurface with the return of Jacy Farrow, played by Cybill Shepherd.
Based on the 1987 novel by Larry McMurtry, the film reunites much of the original cast, including Cloris Leachman, Timothy Bottoms, Randy Quaid, and Eileen Brennan reprising their roles. Runtime is 126 minutes.
