Taken 2 is a 2012 action thriller film directed by Olivier Megaton and serves as a sequel to the highly successful 2008 film "Taken." The film stars Liam Neeson reprising his role as Bryan Mills, a former CIA operative with exceptional skills who goes to great lengths to protect his family.
The story continues to follow Bryan Mills and his family as they try to enjoy a peaceful vacation in Istanbul, Turkey. However, their plans are disrupted when the relatives of the kidnappers Mills killed in the first film seek revenge. The leader of the vengeful group is Murad Krasniqi (played by Rade Šerbedžija), the father of one of the kidnappers killed by Mills.
Mills and his wife are taken captive by Murad and his men, while his daughter, Kim (played by Maggie Grace), must use the skills her father taught her to help him escape and rescue her mother. Mills must rely on his resourcefulness and combat expertise once again to outsmart his captors and protect his family.
