Playlist: The Very Best of Stevie Ray Vaughan is a 2010 compilation released by Epic and Legacy Recordings as part of Sony Music's Playlist series. The fourteen-track collection draws from across the catalog of Stevie Ray Vaughan and his band Double Trouble, the blues rock trio Vaughan led from the late 1970s until his death in 1990.
The set includes the studio staples Texas Flood, Pride and Joy, and Cold Shot, along with the extended cover of Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Child (Slight Return) and later hits Crossfire, Tightrope, and The House Is Rockin'. It closes with Long Way from Home, a track Vaughan recorded with his brother Jimmie as part of the Vaughan Brothers, offering a compact career overview of one of the most influential guitarists of the 1980s blues revival.
