Silver Linings Playbook

Silver Linings Playbook is a 2012 romantic comedy-drama film directed by David O. Russell. The movie follows Pat Solatano (Bradley Cooper), a man who has lost everything - his house, his job, and his wife. After spending eight months in a state institution on a plea bargain, Pat now finds himself living back with his mother (Jacki Weaver) and father (Robert De Niro). Determined to rebuild his life and reunite with his wife, Pat navigates the challenges of his separation while striving to maintain a positive outlook. 

Pat's parents hope he can get back on his feet and share in their family's obsession with the Philadelphia Eagles football team. When Pat meets Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), a mysterious girl with problems of her own, things become more complicated. Tiffany offers to help Pat reconnect with his wife, but only if he agrees to do something significant for her in return.
