Shrek the Third is a 2007 American computer-animated fantasy-comedy film and the third installment in the popular "Shrek" film series. Directed by Chris Miller and Raman Hui, the film continues the adventures of the iconic ogre Shrek and his friends in a fairy tale-inspired world.
The main voice cast includes Mike Myers as Shrek, Eddie Murphy as Donkey, Cameron Diaz as Princess Fiona, Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots, and new additions such as Justin Timberlake as Prince Charming and Julie Andrews as Queen Lillian.
In the movie, Shrek faces a new challenge when his father-in-law, King Harold, falls ill. With Harold's passing, Shrek is next in line to be the ruler of the kingdom of Far Far Away. Uncomfortable with the idea of becoming a king, Shrek embarks on a quest to find the only other heir, Artie, Fiona's awkward teenage cousin. Meanwhile, Prince Charming, who feels cheated of his "happily ever after," gathers an army of fairy tale villains to take over the kingdom.
